Can Google's AI Overviews even use your page?

Google says there's no special trick for its AI answers. To be shown as a supporting link in AI Overviews or AI Mode, a page must be indexed and eligible to appear in Google Search with a snippet. No extra files or schema needed.

Do this today:

1. Verify your site in Google Search Console.
2. Run the URL Inspection tool on your homepage and your main product page. Confirm they're indexed.
3. Search your HTML for noindex, nosnippet, or a tiny max-snippet. Each one limits what Google can show.
4. Make sure the important stuff (what you sell, who it's for) is real text, not only images.
