Can Perplexity find your site?

Perplexity uses PerplexityBot to find and link websites in its search results. Perplexity recommends allowing it in robots.txt if you want to appear there, and says it is not used to train AI models.

Do this today:

1. Open yourdomain.com/robots.txt and look for Disallow rules aimed at PerplexityBot or every bot (User-agent: *).
2. Using a firewall like Cloudflare? Check it isn't blocking Perplexity. Perplexity publishes its bot IP addresses so you can allow them safely.
3. Changed something? Perplexity says it can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
